Spring Festival, Huangshi:
A performance of Wuhan Opera JingJu. Throughout the month various public performances are given all over many of the cities of easy Hubei. It's all but died out in Hunan, Changde.
Lung (Dragon)
Firecrackers and fireworks are lit up through out Spring Festival. During the last evening of Spring Festival the fireworks were constant for about 5 hours all over the city and was quite spectacular. There was a city organized display but the real event was the fireworks going off from the tops of apartment buildings. Fireworks are illegal here.
