Welcome
To Newspaper Reading Newspaper
reading is a course for further developing your ability in English.
The course will do that mostly through reading and discussing newspaper
articles. Newspapers
use a style of writing, which will be covered in class.
You are probably somewhat familiar with newspaper style already from
Chinese newspapers. The class will
cover the general style of newspaper writing but of course in English to make
you better able to understand that style and be able to express that in English.
The
course will cover many issues in daily life and intended to broaden your general
understanding of the world through reading newspapers.
