This sled like device churns the freshly plowed paddy making the paddy flat enough for the raking and weeding.
Hard to see but the device below has spikes for catching weeds. Sometimes they spikes are bent back so slide over the weeds burying them. This step further smoothes out the paddy getting it ready for the final sled smoothing.
