Pipe Works:
Pile of freshly made pipe. The cement gets mixed and put into the molds, in the background. The mold gets spun to form the pipe. It's laid out for a few days then the mold is removed. The pipes then air dry with damp cloths over them to impede drying too quickly.
In the past cities didn't have modern water, drainage and sewer lines. The new infrastructure gets put in as the cities grow, replacing above ground troughs. When they toss up 4000 units of block apartments, installed lines get tapped or ripped up to get enlarged to meet the demand. Interruptions in water and electrical are common.
Pipe works are simple and spring up near jobs sites reducing traffic costs. Visit a pipe factory in your area and hug a pipe worker.
