Words ending in s and ce usually continue the sound for a short time. 

Feel the difference in air flow between bus and but.  Bus has air flowing at the end.  But does not.

Bus but, bus but, bus but.   Rice right, rice right, rice right. Nice night, nice night, nice night.

Mice might, mice might, mice might.  Race rate, race rate, race rate.  Boss bought, boss bought, Boss.   

 

2/ The T and TH sound.

For TH the tongue just touches the back of the teeth.  For T the tongue touches a little above the teeth.

Bath bat, bath bat, bath bat.  Boat both, boat both, boat both.  Boot booth, boot booth, boot booth.

 

3/ The TH sound.

There were thousands and thousands of things they thought.   Think, sink, think, sink, think, sink.

Thick, sick, thick, sick, thick, sick.      Mouth, mouse, mouth, mouse, mouth, mouse.

This, those, and these were easy for them to say.

4/ The L sound.

   Make an L by touching the tongue to the top part of the back teeth or the ridge of the teeth.

Touch the back of the front teeth for:

Lip, lock, like and love.   Lip, lock, like and love.  Lip, lock, like and love.

It is the same for:  

Fall, small, tall and all.  Fall, small, tall and all.  Fall, small, tall and all.
