English Online: Homework AND Lessons The purpose of homework: Your homework usually easy and must be done before the next class meeting. There are three types of homework. The first type is something that asks you to speak to someone else in English. The second is vocabulary. The vocabulary will have the words you need to know for the next lesson. The vocabulary will have the definition (explanation) for words, the pronunciation of the word and sometimes the Chinese character definition of the word. Your Oral English Book. You should get a folder to keep your lessons in. Each week you are given lessons on sheets (pieces of paper) which become the pages in your book (your folder). You are responsible for keeping your book and not loosing pages. You should have your book with you each class.
