Chinese city Cili in Hunan 

This road went off the main road and I guessed into the mountains so took it.  It's a steady winding road to the top.  There were farms where ever there was a flat spot and run just about to the top of the hill.  Within five years the whole mountain will be farmed.  There were about 1000 farms in the hills.  A few people had a motorcycle, many have bikes and many walk.  I met a family about 1/2 way up that had a couple girls.  They walked to school each day 12 kilometers.

I did not make it to the top.  It was getting late and dark plus my tires were taking beating from the rough road and getting deflated.  The top part of the mountain road was still under construction so very rough.  There were also no more farms up high.  The road did continue over the top though.

Average dense cluster of houses packed together to not take up very much farmable land. 

This is about 1/2 way up the mountain but looks like it just started.
