Xingshan city apartments:

The apartments are pretty close together but that's the Chinese way.  These are actually a bit more spacious than most and the height was kept reasonably lower than most new construction in a city this size.  Areas for walking, dancing and meeting are provided in parks scattered around the city, usually stone tiled and generously supplied with trees, plantings and almost always fountains. 

Standard back balcony of any Chinese apartment but these have flowers on most which is a bit unusual.  They are clean and nice.
