Citang Kids:

In many small villages the citang is the focal point for the village so lots of people especially kids.  The elders take care of the kids while the parents are out working.

This citang has been here for 800 years or at least that was the claim.  They moved here in the Ming dynasty from in back of a hill 2 kilometers away.  This is the main entrance to the citang.  There's a small store at the right doorway in an elders home.  He setup a TV and 4 bench seats for watching TV.  The three times I've been here there's always people watching soaps.

The couple to the right are harvesting peanuts. In back of the women with her arm up is a stone table embedded in the wall.  It has inscriptions of the people who gave money for the rebuild of the citang in 1830.
