What Is Happiness? v
There are 7 contestants from each grade. v
Each student will give a 3 minute talk which targets the audience.
The talk can be about any subject but should be interesting and or
informative. v
Each student will be asked 3 simple questions (3 for grade 2) from
the judges panel. The questions for
each student will be related to their talk topic.
The answers for these questions should be short and related to the
question. A guideline would be one
or two sentences. v
Each student will be asked one final question which should be
addressed in about 5-6 sentences. v
The winners will be scored (graded) by the judges. Each speaker will be judged as follows: Poise 3, Expression 3, Pronunciation 10, Content 10,
Fluency 10, Question 1-4, question 2-4, Question 3-4, Question 4-10.
Total 54 points for Grade 1, 58 for Grade 2. There will be 1 set of
winners for each grade. The
contestant finish places are:
