Clinton Common:

Clinton became an organized town in 1860 but people have been living there for 300 years.  Clinton became a thriving cotton mill town early in it's history with many four story brick factories.  Today there are many small plastic factories.

Civil War memorial.  The memorial lists the names soldiers from the town that died in the war.

The common is surrounded by roads and across the street are many important buildings.  There are six churches across the street that face the common.  They are all Christian churches but different denominations.  They all get along though.

There are still some houses across the street from the common.  This house is about as old as the common.
